Giuliani wants Clinton to apologize to Petraeus

David Petraeus —- and demanding she apologize. But the former New York mayor also might have bewildered some Republicans when he categorized illegal immigration as something other than a crime. "The law books say that crossing the border without permission is a misdemeanor. Other than that, it's not a crime," Giuliani said. "That's a question of law, not political rhetoric or political spinning or political positioning." The Republican candidate was responding to an article published in Thursday's editions of the Washington Times, in which he was quoted as saying illegal immigration shouldn't be classified as a crime "because the government wouldn't be able to prosecute it. "We couldn't prosecute 12 million people," he said in the article.

Thomas Riccio, who says he works for an auction house, says "a customer had contacted him recently and said he had personal items that had belonged to O.J. Simpson. The customer claimed to have confiscated the items from Simpson because Simpson owed them money ... Simpson, perhaps believing the items were still rightfully his own, walked into a hotel room at Palace Station on Thursday night along with several other people and reclaimed the items in question, Riccio said. Simpson did not use force when entering the room and was unarmed, and never acted violently during the ordeal, Riccio said." Update at 11:20 a.m. ET: Police are now identifying Simpson as a "suspect," according to the AP.
