The 'American Idol' judges and fans all seem to love David Archuleta, but the crooner's dad is getting no love from a major country music star.
Naomi Judd aired out her qualms with Archuleta's father Jeff, who she called the "worst stage dad" based upon her dealings with him when David was on 'Star Search.' Despite knowing David was "going to be huge," it was his father's actions that left a lasting impression,
OK! is reporting.
"They had to put him in the security guard's little box," Judd said of Jeff Archuleta during the 'Star Search' taping.
This wouldn't be the first negative report of Jeff Archuleta's behavior. A 'Star Search' executive told the New York Post in March that the dad was banned from the backstage area of the show for "trying to subtly psyche out the other kids."
