Texas authorities now say they have taken a total of 401 children into custody at the West Texas compound built by convicted polygamist leader Warren Jeffs. They also say 133 women have left the 1,700-acre property voluntarily.
An unknown number of men remain, but they are not free to leave. One person has been arrested for interfering with authorities during their investigation of the possible marriage of a teenage and the subsequent birth of her baby at age 15.
